Abstract
Μία μέθοδος καθαρισμού ενός ρεύματος αερίου εξαγωγής προερχομένου από ένα λέβητα, το οποίο περιέχει μολυντικές ύλες, που περιλαμβάνει ένα ή περισσότερα από τα όξινα οξείδια του θείου, αζώτου και άνθρακος και ενώσεις οποιουδήποτε αλογόνου, ενώ παράγονται χρήσιμα ή ευνοϊκά (καλοήθη) προϊόντα, η οποία μέθοδος περιλαμβάνει την επαφή του ρεύματος με ένα διάλυμα προερχομένα από την διάλυση εντός ύδατος των διαλυτών συστατικών τέφρας που περιέχει σαν στερεές ύλες ένα ή περισσότερα μεταλλικά άλατα αλκαλίου και αλκαλικής γης, ώστε να παράγεται ένα βασικό (με ΡΗ μεγαλύτερο του 7) διάλυμα. Οι μολυντικές ύλες αντιδρούν με το εκεί ύδωρ για την παραγωγή οξέων. Τα οξέα τούτα αντιδρούν με οποιαδήποτε οξείδια, υδροξείδια και ανθρακικά άλατα αλκαλικών μετάλλων και μετάλλων αλκαλικής γης περιεχόμενα εκεί, που προέρχονται από την τέφρα, για να αποδίδεται ένα διάλυμα μεταλλικών αλάτων αλκαλίου και αλκαλικής γης και ανιονικά συστατικά άλατος, δηλαδή ανδρακικό, θειϊκό, θειώδες, νιτρικό και νιτρώδες άλας και ενώσεων αλογόνων, μαζί με ένα ίζημα μεταλλικών αλάτων αλκαλίου και αλκαλικής γής με οποιαδήποτε αδιάλυτα συστατικά της τέφρας. ω
