992,134. Rotating table tabletting machines. KILIAN & CO. G.m.b.H. June 6, 1962 [June 7, 1961], No. 21925/62. Heading B5A. A cavity filling shoe for a rotating table tabletting machine comprises an inclined plate which partially or wholly covers a filling chamber and presses filling material contained therein down into the cavity passing beneath. In a filling shoe, filling chambers 11, 12 and 13 are interconnected by staggered openings 17 and 18 which distribute laterally filling material from chamber 14. A cover plate 19 is pivoted at 20 and secured at the required inclination by clamping screw 22. As the table rotates material 23 is drawn up under the inclined edge 24, which may incorporate a pressure roller 26, and is thereby forced into the cavity in the direction 25. The cover plate 19 may be spring-loaded.
