997,856. Preventing condensation on double windows. B. P. M. SCHWARTZ. Jan. 17, 1962 [Oct. 17, 1960], No. 35455/60. Heading E1R. [Also in Division F2] A double glazed window has an aperture in one pane containing an apertured bush 3 which is sealed by a bolt 6 pressing against a sealing ring 7. The shoulder of the bush 3 facing the pane has spaced depressions for locating adhesive 4 to fix the bush to the pane. As shown in Fig. 4, the bolt 10 may also be apertured, the hole then being plugged by a stud 21 with a sealing ring 19 set in a groove 18. A rubber grommet 17 seals the edge of the aperture. Specifications 797,426 and 937,989 are referred to.
