Abstract
976,141. Valves. NORDISK VENTILATOR CO. A.B. Jan. 4, 1961 [Jan. 26, 1960], No. 403/61. Heading F2V. An air supply orifice 1 in a ventilation system is controlled by an adjustable member 2 and has in the direction of flow a decreasing cross - sectional area and a sharp edge 4 at the outlet side, but a rounded edge 5 at the inlet side, the adjustable member being conical with an apex angle α2 smaller than the apex angle α1 of a conical surface tangential to the inner wall of the orifice along its edge at the outlet side. In a second embodiment, the orifice is punched out of a thin plate so that it stands out as a short truncated tube.
