Abstract
1290975 Fluid regulators MIKUNI KOGYO CO Ltd 17 Aug 1970 [18 Aug 1969] 39530/70 Heading G3H [Also in Division F1] In a carburetter, a fluid amplifier 10 controls the main fuel-flow to nozzle 16 in accordance with the suction sensed at 19, and a fluid amplifier 20 controls fuel-flow to nozzle 29 in accordance with the suction created at throttle valve 36 during slow running conditions of the associated engine. In the amplifier 20 the fuel entering through passage 12 is deflected away from return passage 25b and into delivery passage 25a in proportion to the suction transmitted through restricted control passage 23a and ports 31, 32, 33, the degree of suction transmitted being adjustable via a throttle screw 30 associated with port 31 and by a throttle screw 34 associated with an air inlet passage 37.
