951,137. Brackets; soap holders. H. SEMRAU. Oct. 23, 1961 [Oct 29, 1960], No. 37838/61. Headings A4B and A4V. A magnetic holder for soap, shaving brushes &c., which are provided with a small magnetisable plate, comprises a plastic supporting arm in the form of a downwardly-open sleeve having a fixing plate 2 mounted at one end and a disc magnet 3 let into a circular recess 9 at the other end, a key-hole shaped cut-out 6 being provided in the upper part of the plate for engagement with the head of a screw &c. already mounted on a wall &c., and two slots 7 being provided in the lower part of the fixing plate through which pins, nails or screws to prevent tilting are driven. Should it be desired to secure the fixing plate by cement intersecting ribs 4 forming suckers 5, and small holes 8 increase the adherence. The magnet 3 is cemented to an arcuate member 9 having radial ribs 10 two of which have a notch 11 so that the hollow space 12 communicates with the atmosphere for drying of the cement securing the magnet.
