955,144. Batching sweets. JAMES PASCALL Ltd. May 11, 1961 [June 1, 1960], No. 19437/60. Heading B8A. The pushers of chains 3 entrain sweets 2 from respective hoppers 1 and deliver them down shoots 7. The sweets fall on to the single shown belt so that they are conveyed between respective fixed walls 9 till they meet fixed wall 10. The sweets are discharged from belt by transverse endless chain 11, each pusher of which entrains a batch of the different sweets one from each channel and delivers it along the guide plate 16.
