946,421. Making ribbon. L. ARGENTO. May 8, 1961, No. 16601/61. Drawings to Specification. Heading B3A. [Also in Division H1] A tinned copper ribbon for use in a tinsel conductor (see Division H1) is manufactured from ingot by cold-drawing a wire which is then passed through a cleansing bath and a bath of molten solder. The tinned wire is then coldrolled to ribbon shape. The tinning may be performed electrolytically.
