Abstract
An emulsion for application by spraying for plant protection and containing one or more constituents liable to give rise to foam formation, contains a plant protection agent and as foam prevention agent at least one saturated aliphatic carboxylic acid containing 10-20 carbon atoms in the molecule preferably in the proportion of 0.1-2% by weight. Specified acids are capric, lauric, myristic, palmitic, stearic and arachic. Specified plant protection agents are a -hexachlorocyclohexane, D.D.T., aldrin, O.O-diethyl-O-p-nitrophenyl thiophosphate.ALSO:An emulsion for application by spraying and containing one or more constituents liable to give rise to foam formation contains as foam prevention agent at least one saturated aliphatic carboxylic acid containing 10-20 carbon atoms in the molecule preferably in the proportion of 0,-2% by weight. The emulsion contains a plant protection agent such as g -hexachlorocyclohexane, D.D.T., aldrin, and 0.0-diethyl-0-p-nitrophenyl thiophosphate. Specified foam prevention agents are capric, lauric, myristic, palmitic, stearic and arachic acids.
