Abstract

A composition for making plastic containers consists of a mixture of linear or substantially linear polyethylene of molecular weight of at least 100,000 and a highly branched polyethylene of molecular weight of from 20 to 50,000, in which the ratio of the percentage by weight of the linear to the highly branched polyethylene is from 1 : 1 to 1 : 4.
