931,254. Packaging-machines. ALLGAUER ALPENMILCH A.G. Nov. 27, 1959 [Nov. 28, 1958], No. 10148/63. Divided out of 931,253. Class 94(1). [Also in Group XVIII] A device for controlling the level of liquid in a plastics lined paper &c. tube 29 being formed and sealed transversely to produce packages, comprises a known heat sensitive device 40 pressed against the tube in the desired position of the level. The tube is heated by the extrusion on to the paper of the plastics lining and the cooling of the tube wall due to raising of the level above the device causes operation of the liquid inlet control valve 3 to reduce supply and viceversa. The package producing machine may be as described in Specification 869,759 or 931,253.
