A pipe bender comprising an arcuate shoe 23 having a groove for receiving tubing to be bent, a hook 28 near one end of the groove for engaging the tubing, and means for retaining a handle 24 radially of the shoe 23 is characterized in that the shoe has a plurality of markings spaced apart on at least one of its sides so as to facilitate bending of the tubing to a predetermined angle corresponding with a selected one of said markings. The markings may be in the form of lines cast on both sides of the shoe 23 and marked with the angle to which the tube is to be bent. A pedal 26 is formed at one end of the shoe 23. U.S.A. Specification 2,584,537 is referred to.
