937,281. Magnetic screening of ships. ELTRO G.m.b.H. Aug. 16, 1962 [Aug. 17, 1961], No. 31571/62. Class 113. A method for magnetic screening of ships consists in coating any part made of a normal ship building material and constituting a potential target for attack by a magnetic explosive unit with at least one coat consisting of material selected from the group consisting of flexible sheets of plastic material, natural rubber and synthetic rubber and covering of polyurethane lacquer and combinations thereof, said coats containing between 60% and 90% by weight of a magnetic filler selected from the group consisting of carbonyl iron powder and magnetic soft fernites.
