Abstract

1,130,293. Laminates. FEB (GREAT BRITAIN) Ltd. 24 May, 1966 [2 June, 1965], No. 23422/65. Heading B5N. A composite strip material comprises a rigid foamed plastics or rubber material coated with a butylene polymer on both sides which is protected by strippable paper strips. The preferred foam is rigid polyurethane foam. The butylene polymer, may contain an amide wax and a filler, e.g. whiting or talc. The foam may be coated with varnish or lacquer before the butylene polymer is applied.
