[Also in Group IX] Quilted fabrics are characterized in that the wadding thereof is of a foamed material and at least one side of the fabric is raised. The foamed material 12, Fig. 1, may be in sheet or crumb form, and may be a polyester or polyether polyurethane, foamed natural, or synthetic rubber. The fabric 13a and 136 may be printed, woven cotton. The fabric may be used as a cover for a mattress.
