Abstract
927,818. Bedsteads; furniture combinations. B. BARENYI. Feb. 15, 1961, No. 5680/61. Classes 52 (2) and 52 (3). [Also in Groups XXXII and XXXIII] A supporting framework 4, 8, Figs. 9, 9a, primarily intended for attachment to a vehicle roof to serve as a roof rack (see Group XXXII) may be fitted with pneumatic mattresses, cushions or the like to form a reclining surface or bed on the ground, for example for camping. The lower ends of feet on parts 4 of the framework are provided with supporting shoes 33. Sockets in the upwardly diverging parts 4 may have rods 27, Fig. 11, inserted therein and connected at the top by a horizontal rod 36 fitted with hooks for suspending a baby's hammock 37. In order to provide a sun bath, a screen of canvas 38, Fig. 12, or the like may be supported around the framework by the rods 27 and horizontal rods 36. Instead of a screen, a grid formed e.g. of slats could also be used so that the framework may serve as a children's playpen.
