Abstract
926,486. Mechanical couplings for cable covering. ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. June 13, 1961 [July 1, 1960], No. 23151/60. Class 38 (1). A fluid-tight cable sealing gland has a sleeve 3 of elastomeric material attached by adhesive to the sheath 2 of cable 1, with a flange 4 held between a housing 5 and a washer 13, by the collar 9 screwing into the housing 5. The shoulder 14 limits the pressure applied to the flange.
