913,035. Moulding pulp articles. DIAMOND NATIONAL CORPORATION. Aug. 8, 1961 [Dec. 19, 1960], No. 28654/61; Class 87(2). Pulp articles D are produced from preforms P by dipping the mould 18 in pulp slurry 12, applying suction through pipes-24 to form the preform P, transferring the preform P to a transfer head 36 by applying suction through pipes 60 and simultaneously forming the article D against the mould 54. The article D is then blown on to a conveyer C. The preform P has a sinusoidal cross-section which provides sufficient material to permit the formation of the finished article D.
