Abstract

910,094. Brassieres. SARONG Inc. Nov. 25, 1960 [Nov. 27, 1959], No. 40551/60. Class 141. A brassiere includes crossed bands 12, 13 each forming the lower inner portion of one of the breast cups 10, 11 and extending freely across the front of the brassiere to form a diaphragm portion anchored below the other breast cup. One end of each band is secured as at 40 to the lower outer portion 25, 29 of the associated breast cup, the other end being secured to a horizontally stretchable section 36, 37 attached at its upper and outer edges respectively to the opposite breast cup portion 29, 25 and back section 15, 14. The bands comprise one-way stretch elastic material with the direction of stretch A parallel to the seam 40.
