Abstract

910,036. Label-dispensers. MINNESOTA MINING & MANUFACTURING CO. March 6, 1961 [March 10, 1960], No. 8023/61. Class 94(1). A label dispenser for labels 23 carried on a continuous web 22 which is bent over a sharp edge to strip them off, has guide members, adjacent the edge 30, one of which is moveable to an inoperative position to facilitate initial threading in of the web, Fig. 5. The moveable guide is a spring 31 anchored to the spindle of the other guide, a roller 27. The web roll 21 may be supported on a spindle 20 secured to a removable plate 17, adjustably located in slots between guides 15, 16, the slots being selected according to the web width.
