Bathing trunks are provided with inflatable pockets 5 and an inflatable portion 3 extending above the waist-band 4 and held round the body by straps 15, 16. The portions 5, 3 are inflated through a tube 6 with a stopper 8. When deflated the part 3 is folded -inside the trunks and the portion 10, simulating a belt, is fastened to the waist-band 4 by means of press-studs.
