[Also in Groups V and XVII] In a method for moulding receptacles having divisions plastic film 1 is moulded by conventional vacuum mould 2. The resulting moulding 3 is placed on card 4, which has a heatactivated adhesive coating on its upper surface and is supported on heated block 5, whilst die 6 presses the assembly together. Floor portions 7 as well as margins 8 are pressed on to the adhesive face of card 4. Margins 8 may be trimmed by a knife edge (not shown) during the pressing. Die 6 is generally (but not necessarily exactly) complementary in form to the moulding 3 and may conveniently be used in the first step of vacuum moulding to push the film roughly into position.
