Abstract
917,408. Binding posts. CUTLER-HAMMER Inc. May 18, 1960 [May 22, 1959], No. 17542/60. Class 38 (1). A headed rivet-like electrical contact has a hollow portion 6b passed through an aperture 4 in an insulating support 2 until the contact head abuts one face of the support, the hollow portion projecting from the other face then being sheared, Fig. 2, to form arms 6c, 6d which are bent to secure the contact to the support and arms 6e, 6f which are deformed to grip an electric conductor 8.
