Abstract

917,356. Loose-leaf binders. ASKEW, D. June 2, 1961 [Aug. 11, 1960], No. 27896/60. Class 146 (1). Filing posts 10 of flexible strip material such as polythene or nylon and the members 5 of a sheet transfer device are interconnected by means of ball-and-socket joints 12, 13. The filing posts have enlarged heads loosely engaged in recesses in the underside of a plate 7, which is riveted to a cover stub 2, whereby the posts may be rotated relative to the plate 7. A locking follower 14 of synthetic resin is provided having two pairs of oppositely disposed lugs 16. The sides of the filing posts and/or the undersurfaces of the lugs 16 may be corrugated to reduce slipping.
