914,471. Tractor power-lift linkage mechanisms. BROWN TRACTORS Ltd., DAVID. Sept. 29, 1961 [Nov. 3, 1960], No. 37749/60. Class 79(1). The upper hitch link of a three-link tractor power lift mechanism is adapted to transmit signals for the automatic draft control of an implement only when in tension. The two parts 10, 14 of the link are arranged to slide telescopically against the action of a compression spring 23 to operate a Bowden cable 27 and the part 14 has a member 16 with a pin 18 adapted to slide in slots 19 in the part 10 and arranged, as shown, to abut the front end of the slots when the link is placed under compression.
