903,574. Bows for stringed instruments. COCKER, L. May 16, 1961 [May 18, 1960], No. 17468/60. Drawings to Specification. Class 88 (2). The stick of a bow is formed of a number (e.g. six) of split cane strips which are fitted together in the presence of a hard-setting adhesive medium and, while the medium is still plastic, are fastened to a bow-shaped former until the medium sets hard. A head is fitted to one end of the stick, preferably by splicing, and a stock to the other end, preferably by a bevelled and bound joint.
