Abstract

909,520. Snap-action switches. INDUSTRIE MATERIALE ELETTRICO VETO S.r.L. April 1, 1960 [April 11, 1959], No. 11681/60. Class 38 (4). The operating lever 1 of a snap-action switch has an electrically conducting apertured plate 2 recessed in it. A conducting support member 8 projects through the aperture 13 and an overcentre helical spring 9 is tensioned between a hook 14 on the plate 2 and the support 8. As the lever 1 snaps to one or other of its limiting positions, the plate 2 pivots at 11 on shoulders 12 of the support 8 and contact is made hetween one of a pair of silver contacts 6 and a respective copper contact 7.
