Abstract
909,177. Typewriters &c. INDUSTRIELLE TECHNIK GES. FUR. Dec. 14, 1959 [Jan. 7, 1959], No. 42403/59. Class 100 (4). [Also in Group XX] An inscribing machine comprising a type lever mechanism is mounted to slide parallel to a drawing-board upon a single guide rail. A known adjustment head 1 has a holding device 3 for a guide rail 4 which mounts a type lever machine 5 for movement over a drawing-board. A scale 7 is provided the zero of which represents the centre of the machine when it is against the left hand stop of stops 9. A hand 15 urges the machine in a letter spacing direction under the control of a wheel 10 which allows normal escapement while a lever 11 can be used for disengagement. An adjustably mounted pointer 20 indicates the print paint. A pencil 29 can be swung on to the drawing paper against which it is held by spring or magnetic pressure. The pencil 29 is operatively connected to ink ribbon carriers 24 so that the ink ribbon is swung out of position when the pencil is in use. In a modified mounting for the machine. Fig. 5, the guide rail 57 is connected by a sliding head 58 to holding rail 59 in turn connected by a sliding head 61 to a carrier rail 62. The guide rail 57 can be positioned as desired by using hand wheels 79, 79<SP>1</SP>.
