Abstract
905,516. Packing cases. GOSLING & SON Ltd., WILLIAM. Jan. 19, 1959 [Feb. 1, 1958], No.3372/58. Class 18. To strengthen the top and bottom of a case of the kind having end walls each comprising a wooden frame 10 and a fibreboard panel 14 and having fibreboard side walls wrapped round the edges of the end walls, the side walls comprise two blanks one forming panels 1, 2, 3 and the other forming panels 4, 5, 6, Diagonally opposite edges 7, 8 are sealed by water-proof adhesive tape, and water-proofed reinforced paper pads may be provided on the four bottom corners. The wooden frame may be rabeted to accommodate the edges of the panels which may be nailed to the frame.
