897,339. Rolling. BRUCKER, H. Nov. 15, 1960, No. 39183/60. Class 83 (4). In a rolling mill having a pair of screwdowns 1b, 2b, Fig. 4, adjustable simultaneously by a common screw-down motor 13b, differential adjustment of the screw-downs is provided by the insertion in the drive of at least one differential gear 11b, 12b having a third shaft driven from a second motor 20 and operating to adjust the screw-downs in opposite directions. In a modification the second motor 20 may be replaced by a pair of motors for individual drive of the differential gears 11b, 12b.
