[Also in Group XXXI] A shell 123 forming part of a handle-bar assembly described in Group XXXI and covering controls and Bowden cables between twistgrips 114 and 115 has its front-edge bent downwards and/or cut-away to accommodate a headlamp. The headlamps. may be accommodated in a housing 145 formed in the shell or its casing may be welded to the shell, or it may be clamped to the steering column 113 and surrounded by a rubber packing 146 as in Fig. 6.
