Abstract
869,821. Heating air. SVENSKA AKTIEBOLAGET GASACCUMULATOR. Jan. 25, 1960, No. 2612/60. Class 64(3) A water tube heater 5, 6 is placed below the sill 3 of a window 1 and plates 7 and 8 are arranged to form two vertical ducts, one for cold air passing downwards from the window and the other for heated air passing into a room from the heater. The partition 8 which is formed of a heat-insulating material is lengthened by a vertically adjustable screen 12 having a flap 13 which closes the duct 9 when the screen is retracted. A flap 14 may allow air from the room to be circulated and the duct 9 may be incorporated in the wall itself.
