Class 20(2) [Also in Group XXII] A plate for joining wooden members comprises a rectangular part 15 and a rhomboidal part 21 joined along part of each of the sides 17, 18, the part 21 being bent along a line 20 aligned with the side 25 of the part 15. Fastenings are driven through holes 35 and holes 40 are provided for the fastenings of sheathing applied over the plate. A corner 31 is bent to form a spike for locating the plate while fastening. The plates are cut from a sheet Fig. 1 without waste.
