Abstract

868,240. Air heating stoves. ELECTRO MECHAN-HEAT Ltd., and SLADE, C. E. Feb. 26, 1958 [March 4, 1957], No. 7088/57. Class 64(1) In an air heating stove, an air heating chamber 4 surrounding an oil fired combustion chamber is provided with an air inlet fitted with a fan and two outlets 6, 7 for heated air located respectively adjacent the upper and lower ends of the stove, and an outer casing 1 surrounds the air heating chamber and is spaced therefrom by an air jacket 5. In the form shown, additional air outlets 8, 9 are provided in the top of the stove for the escape of heated air. The fan may be switched on or off either manually by means of a switch 15a as shown, or thermostatically. Fuel supply to the burner is regulated through a control knob 20.
