The insole rib stripping of the parent Specification, is modified in that the fabric facing to the fibreboard or like strip 1 and the tape 2 with its adhesive coated portion 3 are formed integral with one another, The strip 1 may be scored at 4, as in the parent Specification, to facilitate bonding the lower part thereof at right-angles for adhesion to the insole, and the adhered portion of the tape 2 may terminate above the point of flexure to incline the strip inwardly when secured.
