Abstract

856,701. Reciprocating pumps. BERTHOUD & CIE S.A. Feb. 4, 1959, No. 4018/59. Class 102(1). The outlet valve 25 of a hand actuated spray pump normally closes on a valve seat 22 under the action of a spring 26 ; at the end of the discharge stroke a member 7 on the piston forces the valve 25 into engagement with a second seat 23 to stop further discharge. The ball 25 may be replaced by a double conical valve.
