Abstract
855,192. Filing papers. MOBUS, G. March 6, 1957 [March 7, 1956], No. 7506/57. Class 146(1). A cabinet for storing drawings in a hanging position has front and rear panels, the front being hinged for opening, and substantially straight interfitting means pivotally mounted on supports which are pivotally mounted on the respective panels, the interfitting means forming a hanging rail when the hinged panel is closed. The form shown in Fig. 1 has a fixed rear panel 6 and a front panel 5 hinged at 9 and secured by a latch 8. The interfitting members may comprise two or more rods 12 which engage tubes 13 when the cabinet is closed. Each rod 12 may be secured to a support 34 Fig. 3, pivoted at 25 to a main support 26 which can pivot at 27 to an extent determined by an adjusting screw 21. In an alternative arrangement the rod 13 has a ball end mounted in a socket on the member 26. Each tube 13 may be carried in a similar or equivalent mounting.
