[Also in Group XXXVI] A mounting block for electrical accessories, such as surface-mounted switches or sockets, comprises a cup-shaped block of insulating material with circular knock-outs 1 in the bottom and integral seating platforms 3, 3a half-way down the block, on which an accessory may be seated. Forwardly-extending walls 6 provide a recess for the accessory. Sides 5 between seatings 3, 3a are sloped and have rectangular knock-outs. The diagonally-opposite seatings 3 have apertures 4 to enable the block and accessory to be screwed to a wall. The seatings and accessory may be spaced further apart by packing-members.
