837,824. High-tension switches. ETABLISSEMENTS MERLIN & GERIN. July 8, 1957 [July 10, 1956], No. 21512/57. Drawings to Specification. Class 38 (5). An air-blast circuit-breaker has a radial blast zone of invariable thickness and pneumatic means to brake the final part of the contact-opening movement. In a particular embodiment which is identical with Fig. 3 of Specification 837,825, the blast zone is limited by the fixed contact 4 and the cap 37.
