Class 8(2) [Also in Group XXXIII] A container for transporting or storage of gases or liquefied gases comprises a cylindrical tank 2, Fig. 1, or a tank formed from two merging cylindrical parts e.g. 5, 6, Fig. 2. The tank may be formed from a corrosion-resisting material e.g. chrome-nickel steel with a covering of heat insulating material. As shown in Fig. 2, the container may be stiffened by a partition or tie rods 8. The container may be supported by a framework.
