Abstract

828,384. Feeding dolomite. SORENSEN, R. Nov. 20, 1957, No. 36091/57. Class 78 (1). Dolomite is discharged from hopper 1 by tube 4 rotated by a motor through worm 16 and gear 12, the rate of discharge therefrom being varied manually by means of sliding plate 19, and the material falling into cavity 38 whence it is blown into a boiler. Flow of material is aided by fixed oval plate 28 and by three stirrers, viz. fixed stirrers 34, 23 and rotating stirrer 23 secured to tube 4.
