Abstract

1,037,980. Screw conveyers. HOWE RICHARDSON SCALE CO. Jan. 13, 1964, No. 1358/64. Heading B8S. Material is discharged at 44 from bin 20 by screw 36 operating in trough 38 formed in the bottom of the bin. The material is fed to screw 36 by four screws 74, 76, 64 and 66. The screws are carried in pairs on shafts 70 and 62 driven through gears 84 and 82 and are shaped to feed the powder inwards to the trough 38 for discharge by screw 36.
