Abstract
811,992. Electric heating cables. BRUCE, H. H. Aug. 26, 1955 [May 26, 1954; July 23, 1954], Nos. 15581/54 and 21521/54. Class 39(3) An insulated electric heating cable comprises a thin ribbon or tape of resistance metal, e.g. cupro-nickel enclosed in a thin sheath of insulation which may be silicone rubber, polyvinyl chloride or yarn of glass or asbestos impregnated or coated with silicone resin or epoxy resin varnish. The insulation may be applied in tape form, as a lacquer coating or be extruded around the resistance material e.g. and -may have a metal sheath to assist in heat dispersion. Specification 610,022 is referred to.
