Abstract

811,195. Brushes. G. O. L. SOC. ar.l. Jan. 25, 1957 [July 20, 1956], No. 2792/57. Class 19. A toothbrush is formed as an integral moulding of plastics in which the bristle filaments 3 project from a flexible plate 2 at the end of a flat strip 1 forming a handle, the strip 1 and plate 2 being stiffened by one or more longitudinal ribs 1a, 1b, and 1c. The diameter of the filaments 3 increases in steps from the tip to the root. A dentrifice-containing cover 4, that is press fitted about the sides of the plate, protects the filaments and recharges them when the brush is not in use.
