Abstract

818,278. Brushes; handles. WARLEX PRODUCTS Ltd. Jan. 27,1958 [Feb. 26, 1957], No. 6358/57. Classes 19 and 61. Into each end of a resilient tube 2 formed by a closely coiled helix of wire surrounding a resilient wire core 1 of shorter length than the tube 2 is secured a brush stock 3a, 4a. The brushes 3, 4 are of different sizes and comprise bristles held in the leading turns of twisted wire stocks 3a, 4a that are screwed into the tube 2 up to the ends of the core 1. Rubber sleeves 5 surround the ends of the tube 2 for a distance to either side of the abutments between the stocks'and the core. The brush assembly is for cleaning drains.
