Abstract
816,601. Photographic diazotype processes. TANENBAUM, A., and ROYER, R. P. Oct. 10, 1955 [July 9, 1954], No. 20189/54. Class 98(2) An exposed two component diazotype material is developed by placing it in contact with an absorbent sheet of developing material which has been impregnated with a solution of a salt of an organic amine (including morpholine) and an organic acid, sulphamic acid, or monosodium phosphate, and heating the sheets. The heating may be for 10 seconds at 120‹C. in a heated press. Suitable salts for impregnation of the developing sheet are the formate, acetate, succinate, citrate, sulphamate, glycolate and monosodium phosphate of ethanolamine, the formates of diethanolamine, thiethanolamine, morpholine ethylene diamine, #-diethylaminoethanol and 2-aminopyridine, and the monosodium phosphates of diethanolamine, triethanolamine and morpholine. A number of prints may be developed using the same developer sheet.
