Abstract
801,926. Vehicle couplings. NATIONAL MALLEABLE & STEEL CASTINGS CO. Oct. 5, 1956 [Oct. 5, 1955], No. 30409/56. Class 103(5) The tail 44 of a rotor lever 22 is provided with a longitudinal slot 48 in which is pivoted at 52 a latch member 50 having a projecting lug 56. Under shock conditions which would tend to lift the lock, the latch member 50 moves upwardly and forwardly with the lug 56 engaging a slot 58 in the flange 59 thereby preventing rotation of the rotor lever 22 and consequent lifting of the lock.
