Abstract
A jacketing composition for electric cables comprises 50-70 parts by weight of a polymer of vinyl chloride or a copolymer of vinyl chloride with up to 10 per cent by weight vinyl acetate, 15-25 parts by weight of a monomeric plasticiser such as di-2-ethyl hexyl phthalate, and 15-25 parts by weight of a polymeric plasticiser such as one containing a dibasic acid-glycol polyester.
