Compressed air carrying powdered material along flexible tube 4 is given a boost and a turbulent movement by the introduction of additional air from inlet 3, the additional air passing into the tube 4 through a porous section S thereof which is centred in the jacket 2 by supports 6 and is strengthened by wire lattice 5.
