Abstract

<PICT:0766901/IV(b)/1> <PICT:0766901/IV(b)/2> A machine for squeezing materials especially textile materials between rollers, comprises a fixed roller 1 and a roller 2 having bearings 3 which are vertically movable in side guides 4. Rods 5, 6 depending from the bearings 3 are connected to beams 7, 8 which may be moved downwardly to increase the roller pressure by a spring acting on levers 11, 12 fulcrummed at 13 and pivoted to the beams at 9, or by means of a fluid operated piston rod 16 pivoted at 15 to the levers.
